10 April 2012, London: Airbus Military A400M, the latest generation transport aircraft for the 21st century, will visit Asia on April 14 to 20. Malaysia, which is the A400M customers, becoming the first and longest stop of the tour in three Asian countries.

From Malaysia, the Airbus Military A400M will stop in Jakarta, then Chiang Mai and Bangkok (Thailand), before returning to Europe. Airbus Party, Tuesday (04/10/2012) mentions, this visit is the first time in Asia, and will give an opportunity to the government and the Malaysian Air Force to see the aircraft directly.

Malaysian Government has ordered four new aircraft, along with several other customer countries, namely Belgium, France, Germany, Luxembourg, Spain, Turkey, and United Kingdom. The aircraft will be flown in the Asia-Pacific tour is Grizzly 4, one of five prototype aircraft developed.

On April 18, Grizzly 4 will fly to Jakarta, and stayed for a day at Halim Air Field. Government officials and guests from the Air Force will be able to see the aircraft and participated in flight demonstrations to gain direct experience of the amazing capabilities possessed by the A400M.

Old colleagues Airbus Military in Indonesia, namely PT Indonesian Aerospace, also supports and facilitates Grizzly visit to Indonesia. On April 19, the aircraft will depart to Thailland and visit Chiang Mai Airfield, to participate in the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the Air Force Thailand.

A400M aircraft is a military transport aircraft that is designed to meet the needs of the armed forces of the 21st century. Thanks to advanced technology, these aircraft can fly higher, faster, and far, with retaining high maneuverability, low speed, and the ability to use short runways, soft and rough.

This aircraft combines the capabilities of tactical and strategic mission, and also can be used as an aircraft fuel filler. With cargo space that is specifically designed to transport large equipment needed by the military and humanitarian aid missions, the aircraft can carry cargo quickly and go directly to where it is most needed.
